I use the ultimate-pro omni-pivot RRS setup, and like to keep to around 300 ppi (native for my ipf8300). On my 5DII this required two rows to print canvases at my preferred heights (24" to 30" plus wrap). The D800 is allowing me to change to single rows, and potentially go from HDR to single shots, with the excellent DR. Going from two-row, HDR panos to single-row, non-HDR is going to be a huge time saver for me. Plus I'll be able to downsize the pano head.
Happy shooting,
Marc
P.S. You might want to clone out that hummingbird near the dock in your crop.
