Not unless you want all the bells and whistles that come with Photoshop.

Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw share a common raw processing pipeline.

I just picked up my D-800 and I am reading the manual. I had the D-700 for several years, the best camera I have ever owned. I only shoot RAW and I now find myself with Photoshop CS4 and apparently the RAW converters are not available for this version. I did buy the Lightroom 4 so That will help, but I am used to using Bridge for my pre-sort, etc. I use Lightroom for big projects but Photoshop RAW for day to day quick conversions. Do I have to upgrade to CS6?

I dislike the NX View supplied, really lame

Any advice?
