TS-E's might be a good reason not to want pop-up flash

Not wanting a pop-up flash because it's "too amateurish" or whatever is a bit silly, but from what I've seen so far, pop-up flashes require the prism hump's "lip" to extend further over the lens mount. 1D(s) and 5D series Canons are great for handling tilt-shift lenses since the prism hump doesn't get in the way when rotating the lens. I'm not 100% sure, but a pop-up flash that rises high enough to be useful at all would probably compromise this.

If someone has experience of using a Nikon D700 or D800 with PC-Nikkors, maybe he could comment if the pop-up design was an issue at all.
