Video From D800 Freezes Aperture On Import

I am curious if anyone has been able to successfully import video shot with the D800 into Aperture. Every time I attempt to import photos and videos shot with the D800, the import freezes when it encounters the video. I have looked online and am not seeing others posting about having this issue, so I am curious if is isolated and maybe related to a bum codec on my computer. I am using a Mac Pro 2,1 with 17GB of RAM running OS 10.7.3 and Aperture 3.2.3.
