Hi folks, I have a Sigma 120-300 HSM OS and Canon 70-200 2.8L lens along with a Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 2X converter.

When I use the 2X on the Canon I am am happy with it but on the Sigma much less so.

I know there is degredation of quality with a 2X but expected much better of the Sigma.

Is it worth trying a different 2X or should I simply dump the Sigma and get the Canon 100-400? Is the Canon 100-400 with a 1.4TC better than the sigma with 2X?

Anyone out there had experience of the above?

I only shoot wildlife.

Iain
