I am not an expert in LR but I thought:

1) limited control over the tonal curve of your image, you can't clamp the top or bottom end through the UI, which makes coloring blown out pixels difficult (you can force the clamp by modifying preset files in a text editor)

Can't you use the point curve in LR for this on the individual RGB channels?

2) horrible masking control, this includes both local brushes as well as clone/heal tool. Having only a circle with feature is a big limitation, even worse is that the function is always additive.

Doesn't the brush turn into a smaller "remove" brush if you hold a modifier key?

With LR's current capabilities including perspective / distortion control, I now find it is only for serious clone / heal work that I need PS and that only applies to a low percentage of images.
