Yes, my NEX5N was obsolete the day I bought it. By that I mean the NEX5O or P or Q would be coming out. And obsolence applies to my iPad, car, refrigerator, etc. That is the way business works.
But oddly enough, my camera still takes great shots.
For those who complain about lens selection, I agree 100% that in a perfect world there would be a plethora of lenses for the NEX series right now. But, take a look into history for ANY manufacturer when a new lens mount was released. Not all lenses are available "day 1".
Sony, Sigma, Tamron and others have e-mount lenses, with more to come.
Sit back, relax, enjoy time with family and friends, sip a Belgian ale and TAKE PHOTOS!
