Advice - Visiting Japan

This photo is on my computer - not the external drive. It is hard to imagine I got this people free shot.

The teenage person and I spent 3 days in Kanazawa. She voted for it because it had a castle (she was big on castles and shopping). And I selected it because (like Brugge in Belgium) it was so economically insignificant that it avoided all the bombing in WW2. So, it has a lot of old stuff. As you know, Kyoto was not bombed either - but that was intentional.

This all makes me feel like getting on a plane or three and seeing what I didn't see the first time. (Unfortunately some of the things I saw 2 summers ago a not there anymore.)
