A57 doesn't behave like A65 at all.

On SanDisk UHS-1 95MB/s card, the buffer clears in about 5 to 6 seconds, but most importantly: The camera is back to fully usable within less than one sec, even though the red light for writing is still on ....

On class 6 SDHC card, bufferr clears in around 15 seconds .... but the camera still reacts normally within one second if you half press the shutter button (while the buffer is still writing)

Basically, you can take another shot within one second (even with class 6 card), even though buffer was full after the initial burst.
