Until mirrorless comes with optical viewfinder (well Fuji already did I guess) with ability to show action in the viewfinder when it is happening, it won't replace DSLR in my opinion. I do own NEX5n and very happy with its picture quality including low light, and consider it better than NEX7 (picture quality in low light). I've tried multiple mirrorless cameras with EIS and have always been disappointed the moment I needed to shoot any action (as the picture would freeze on my display or in my EIS, and I would have no idea what I was shooting in the subsequent shots). I ended up selling all of them. With any DSLR with optical viewfinder I can shoot Birds in Flight without guess work.

Thus in my opinion, at this point it is clearly not a replacement but a companion to a DSLR. I am perfectly happy to leave my Nikon D800 or Canon 7D when I go out at night and take my Sony NEX5n instead, and come home with terrific restaurant/bar/club photos. For me Sony NEX5n was a true Point-and-shoot replacement, not a DSLR replacement. I've never been satisfied with any of the point-and-shoots I've had (and I've had more than 50 I think in the last 5-10 years)... with Fuji F10/F30/F31fd perhaps being the closest to satisfaction. NEX5n is portable enough for me to take to any club or any other place without raising suspicion. I even attached a point-and-shoot strap to it to make it look even more small and pocketcam like.
