I shoot indoors a lot, so I would get the superior high iso performance of the G3 combined with the convenience and quality of the 12-35mm. Weather proofing and the IBIS are nice but not essential; the biggest thing holding me back is the superior dynamic range of the EM5 - from the tests I've seen, it's really significantly better than the other m43 cameras.

From looking at the RAW images I find the differences in sensor performance between E-M5 and G3 truly marginal. I think the E-M5 gets the extra highlight DR by underexposing (or overrating their ISO) and applying a different tonal curve. I very strongly suspect that if you chose to process the RAW files you'd get about the same results from either camera.

Nevertheless, I myself is looking into trading a G3 for en E-M5, mostly because I do not want to tinker with RAW just to get the highlights. It's one thing when I know I will be processing the image a lot, it's another if I just want some snapshots for memory.
