Traditionally, glass IS the better purchase. Consider buying micro four thirds in early 2010; pick up an E-PL1 body and a Panny 20mm. The body retailed at $600 and is now worth, at a stretch, $150. The lens retailed at $400 and is now fairly easy to sell at $325.

That said, IBIS and weather-sealing are the EM5's two ace cards over Panasonic's finest, and maybe the JPEG engine if that's important to you. I'm wary of buying too much into the sensor hype, especially given the lack of particularly reliable data. Besides, a camera is not a sensor. If it was, we'd all be running around with NEX or Pentax or something.

So ask yourself: realistically speaking, how much of a difference does DR make to you? How certain are you that Olympus sufficiently exceeds Panasonic in that regard? And is it worth six hundred dollars to you? Hell, even a GH2 body should only be running about USD 600, and it's got excellent DR capabilities. And the OM-D with kit zoom will be running how many stops higher ISO to match a GH2 at f/2.8? Remember, DR falls off badly as ISO increases.
