As an experiment, you should go to the Canikon subforums, and declare that anyone who shoots full-frame and stops their lenses down to f/5.6 or slower is incapable of "serious photography"; and see how far that gets you.

you are obvious a person so much in a defensive position that you get temted by such rather embarresing superficial statements. Ok, fair enough you show your colors.

Now I have not stated the above. Its absolutely true that limited DOF is a compositional tool in the same way infinite sharpness is. Depends on what you shoot. Actually the point with APS-c is that its the best suited sensor size to give you the choise to go in both direction, in that respect its actually a more ideal allrounder than m43 AND FF.

Razor-thin DOF is not the single most important factor in photography;

That is a absolutely irrelevant and meaningless statement.. For some pictures Razor-thin DOF might be the most important component, in others it might me infinite DOF that is important.
