NEX 7 vs DSLR

Bought the Nex 7 with kit lens and returned it. Using the EVF or the LCD in bright Florida sunshine was very difficult no matter how I tried to shade the EVF. Also the kit lens , while well made, was unsharp in the corners. Bought a Canon 600D. It is heavier and bulkier, but it focuses faster, and i can see what I am shooting in any light. And the Canon kit lens while not as well made as the Sony is sharp to the corners. When Nex sells a better kit lens and produces a better EVF, I will buy a Nex 7 or its successor again, because except for the deficiencies stated above, it is a pleasure to use and it is capable of great image quality.
