Five Lenses Tested At 14mm

Out of curiosity, I did a sharpness test of the five lenses I own that work at 14mm. Aperture was set at f5.6. All were quite sharp in the center so edge-to-edge sharpness became the determining factor. The ranking caught me a little by surprise.

1) 14-45
2) 14
3) 14-140
4) 7-14
5) 12-50

I was amazed how good the 14-45 really is. I was disappointed by the 12-50 and surprised that the 7-14 didn't rank higher (although there is no better m43 lens at 7mm...am I right?). Of course there are other qualities to a good lens but now I know I can't go wrong with the trusty G1 kit lens.
