If it were free, which would you choose?

Reasons to get the X100:

If outdoor work, the OVF handles the sun
For more bokeh, the X100 has a better f stop
For indoor low light work the better f stop is better
Excellent skin tones
Movie mode
Great following

Reasons not to get X100:

It is 16 ounces, will weigh down a pocket
Some focus issues mentioned in forums

The sticky syndrome pops up still, was never really resolved, beyond 12 months not covered

Reasons to get the X2:

Now focuses competitively with Sony 5N and X100
Now has EVF (Olympus VF-2 works at $ 200)
Weighs only 11 ounces
Quite small, same size as smallest m4/3 PM1 or Pana GF3

You can get a Leica Elmarit lens all praise for $ 3000 or the Leica X2 and the lens for $ 1995

Leica 3d "pop"picture look (see Steve Huff 5 articles X1 vs X100, his heart was with Leica but his wife chose the X100)

Reasons not to get X2:

No OVF. No EVF unless connected
No following or love from the community
Slower 2.8 lens

Personally skin tones from X100 were better than X1. But X2 is different they say.
No movie mode.
