For the OMD and birds, my preference is to not go above ISO 500. The feather detail seems to get smudged. I set it to A mode and shoot wide open at 6.7. I have found the IBIS is much better than my Pens and I have been amazed at the sharpness I have seen even at lower shutter speeds. For pics of my kids, I don't mind a little grain and tend to shoot at high ISOs
