24mm - TSE or F1.4 II

What to do, what to do....
I shoot interiors and really had enough barrel distortion from my 17-40 and the 16-35. Time for a prime. Where I am, the price difference is about $800.
Without the T & S functions, are these 2 lenses optically equal?
I don't think I will be using the T & S function too too much but I am sure they are nice to have. And for situations where 24 mm is not quite wide enough, I am sure stitching 2 images would be much much easier with the TSE, right?
But I am gaining the AF on the F1.4 and $800!
My normal shooting focal length is 19-22mm. I don't think I want to go for the 17mm TSE.
What would you do? Is the manual focus a big issue with the TSE? Time is of the utmost essence for me. If I have to struggle with the MF for every shot, I think that would put me off.
Looks like I have answered my own question and looks like the F1.4 is pulling ahead but if the IQ is superior on the TSE, then it's a different story.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
