D300 + f/1.8D back-focusing corrective algorithm?

My trusty f/1.8 is back-focusing on my good-ole D300. Not happening with my other lenses, as far as I can tell (or at least it's not as noticeable as with the f/1.8).
Can anyone point me in the direction of a tried and true algorithm to correct this problem?
