Pylons and high voltage power lines

Pylons and high voltage power lines - in landscape photography often avoided like a plague, I usually tend to crop them out of my photos. As pylons and high voltage power lines are typical for the landscape around my home I tried to make them part of the picture.
What is your opinion - use them in picture or avoid at all cost?
