Thank you for the piccies.

Indeed they are unforgotten shapes. BTW, one of my design ideas is, that once the EVF is built in, a smaller LCD, would offer more space for uncramped buttons.

actually I still own an LC1, pictures dont do it justice
and its a bigger camera than mirrorless cameras

Its ergonomics come from the film era, an arrangement more or less universally found accepted on many cameras of the day, b/se they work

I note the writer of that article in Ludicrous Landscape suggests

" A couple readers took issue with the fact that I described the G1X sensor as being APS-C format and they are technically correct in this regard. The G1X sensor is the very same Canon sensor used in the 60D, but it is cropped to the aspect ratio of the sensors in other G series Powershot cameras, which is squarer than the 2:3 ratio of DSLRs. So, it is smaller than the APS-C sensors in Canon’s DSLRs. However, from a manufacturing standpoint, and from the standpoint of economies of scale, it is APS-C, and it is a larger sensor than M43 cameras.? "

by his reasoning 20D is FF, just tell me when he starts drinking his own pee
