For your purposes, if I'm reading them correctly, there is no difference in technique between a full frame camera and an APS-C model. For instance, the shot you took would have come out identically with your other camera, minus of course the 'crop' factor. That change from 1.6 to 1.0 of the lens's focal length is the only difference. You may consider it minor or you may consider it critical. However, there is no difference in technique and approach. Exposure is measured the same way. Colours remain as true as they can be. Composition continues to be critical.

I shoot film. I shoot digital. Both are great in their own ways. The nice thing about film is that I can always have the most advanced imaging technology around packed into my 20 year old camera. That's one aspect of digital that I loathe.
