problems loading Camera Raw 7.1 - needed for D800

With my new D800, I can't open raw files in CS6. seems like I need Caemra Raw 7.1, which is in a pre-release version. but can't open that. says I need an updated Adobe Applications Manager, and that won't update.

anyone else had this issue?
