Again, thanks for your input and your suggestions.

I have tried the "o ring" and grommet option, however, since the video button is too close to the thumb rest a clean installation (esthetically speaking) appears to be quite difficult.

I have contacted lensmateonline.com (as was suggested), and since their products have a very clean design perhaps they will come up with something that will not only add to the functionality but also to the overall appearance. After all, this is a $ 800 camera...

Any additional ideas or suggestions are very welcome...!
