As to No market on what do you base your statement. As to no other camera maker making one . Well no other camera maker makes a E-M5 , Olympus have always been innovators in this out of the box area, like LV which was a solution looking for a problem and now suddenly the D4 gets picked off for what is supposedly not a good implementation. The same goes for the dust buster.

For Olympus to have a m4/3 camera that uses PDAF as well would solve a lot of issues not only on 4/3 glass but CAF as its currently implemented on m4/3.

Methinks that this continual anti 4/3 lenses and getting them to work on m4/3 will show up people that continually keep on knocking fast bigger zooms if way is found to get them to work with well with all functions . It's a case of not wanting it too happen as to what advantages m4/3 could derive from this formal marriage.

Just as we are continually trying to protect out ‘investments’ in fast big long zooms others see this merging as a threat to the stuff they have purchased in m4/3 as it would then mean their lenses would not be top dog in their system anymore.

Why do people continually have to justify their move to another system by coming back and bringing up silly arguments. If it floats your boat do it. I think a lot of the revisits is to justify the move to ones self than any thing else.
