Which 50mm do you prefer?

50 L for me too lol. i just got it and i would say its a league above the others.

but out of the other two? I would say the 1.8

I had the 50 1.4 didnt like it much and some users complain of it malfunctioning because the plastic ring warps not allowing you to focus.. In fact it happened to me.

The 1.8 is not much of an investment so its a really great value.

If you are willing to spend a little more I would get the sigma 50 1.4
Its a more solid build than the canon 50 1.4 also sharper and better bokeh
