I agree with you completely. But one thing I've learned over the years here, you will not convince a person that advocates "zooming with their feet" of anything other than the blind dogma they hold for their primes.

Like you, I tend to use both zooms and primes, depending on the situation. Both have their merits.

Anyone saying that a person will always get better shots with this or that lens isn't open to learning new things. Such is life.
