D800E availability

I contacted my local Nikon dealer here in northern VA today and asked what the ETA was for the D800E. Answer-3 weeks and the price was as advertised-no mark-ups. They wouldn't tell me how many people were on the waiting list, but 3 weeks isn't bad for a neighborhood store. Maybe Nikon really is sending a reasonable number of bodies to all dealers, even the little ones.
