I am stepping up from a point and shoot to the Olympus OM-D E-M5. I ordered the silver model along with the Olympus ED 14-150mm f/4.0-5.6 micro Four Thirds Lens and still waiting for delivery. I mostly use a camera for vacation photos, where I shoot a family member in front of some travel spot landmark. So, I usually prefer the family member (i.e., the subject) to be in focus as well as the background, to remind us where we were. I played with a friend's Sony Alpha A65 and while the subject was in focus, the background was blurry. Before I get my Olympus, I wanted to know from OM-D E-M5 owners (or others who would know) how to easily (or even by default) make both the subject and the background in focus using the OM-D E-M5 and my lens. Thanks!

Buy pentax Q and you will not have to worry about this issue at all. Don't buy larger sensor cameras if deep DOF is what you need.
