D800 LCD Screen

I'm going to try this. My concern here is that

• Now: I have a greenish LCD but the files themselves (when on a computer) are neutral color, very good.

• If I tune the white balance as you describe so the LCD shifts toward magenta to become neutral, won't that also cause the actual file (when on the a computer) to shift magenta and then be magenta instead of it's current neutral color?

After I try it I'll report back, but if you or anyone else has thoughts on that meanwhile, I'll be interested as well
