Why would they put a generous buffer in an intro level camera? (would be nice of course)
I don't think that is very likely for beginners level.

I'm thinking that this could work on the sales level of things against the bigger MP contenders... ie. if Joe were to ask a salesperson what advantages he had with the K-30 against the D3200 with more MP(for example), the answer could be that the K-30 is better suited to shoot action with its higher frame rate. However... I think such a position would also require a decent buffer(min, 15 frames) in order to succeed otherwise, the continuous shooting period would likely be too small to be useful. - in a nutshell.

PS. I honestly don't know if such an approach would work, but that's what its something I'd like consider as a first time camera shopper. Then again... I might just go for the higher MP count
