E-M5: Can turn off IBIS but leave viewfinder stabilization on?
May 17, 2012

Some folks advocate turning off IBIS at speeds where it is not needed, such as 1/200 and above on my old nikkor 105mm macro.I may experiment with that. However, if I turn it off, can I still turn on the stabilization of the viewfinder. This is very helpful for focusing Manual Focus only lenses, such as legacy lenses.

I'm not expecting this to be possible. Seems it's likely to be an "all or nothing" proposition. But...maybe not. Oly seems to have endless options within this camera .

Just wondering?
