Durability of Image Specialist inks

Hi

There's quite a few threads here recommending Image Specialist inks as an alternative ink supply to OEM inks for CISS or cartridge refill systems.

People also recommend Octoink in the UK. It seems Octoink is actually Image Specialist ink so that's 2 sets of recommendations for Image Specialist inks.

Has anyone at dpreview had any experience of the longivity or fade-ability of the Image Specialist inks. ?

I've seen a review online concerning colour reproduction which seems to be the reason so many seem happy to recommend Image Specialist inks but nobody talks about their durability.

I looked at the Image Specialist website and interestingly there is no mention of ink durability that i could find.

Im using the Canon Pixma ix6550 A3 printer with a CISS system loaded with Image Specialist inks from Octoink btw.....
