Thanks for your reply & good info there. You've got some great pics in your Flickr gallery.

But being personally unfamiliar with the D5100 & also the D7000, I'm not sure what you meant by using HDR. Do the 5100 & 7000 have the built in HDR feature like the D800 has for Jpeg use? Where it quickly shoots 2 different exposures & blends in-camera?

Also, from looking at your EXIF data from that house & yard, it looks like you kept the Exposure Comp @ 0.0 for all of them. Is that your typical setting for that?

In the past, I've seen sample pics from the 7000 where they looked a little(sometimes more than a little) washed out, especially the highlights as you mentioned. Should I just keep the Exp Comp around 0 for interior day shots or night both? Or maybe even underexpose when in an office building or wherever has bright ceiling lights?
