I have the 1.4DG and it correctly reports my Nikon 300mm f/4 as 420mm f5.6, but my Tamron 90mm f2.8 stays 90mm f2.8 with the TC on. I think the DGX is supposed to correct this on all lenses.

I'm unsure about this as I think (I have to double-check) my DG shows the correct aperture and FL used to capture an image. I use NIkon View NX2 to view image data.
