g2 + 14-140 for Trips???

I have G2 w/17mm F2.8 lens, will start Far-Eastern trips 2 months later. Considering buying a 14-140 Lens to replace my usual trip equipment of Nikon D80 + 18-200 VR Lens(I feel it is heavy and dislike the lens cleep). Anyone can give some advise ? or the money for an 14-140 can cover a FZ150 which is going to be one item deal.

Remarks: I am not a serious photographer, just take people, landscaps and flowers for fun.
