I'm saving to jpeg for printing? Thought that was best, so save as tiff or ps ,do I print from these?

But don't sve to JPEG from ACR. From ACR save to PSD, and then if you want a print you make a JPEG copy of the PSD file. That's if you're not doing your own printing. If you're doing your own printing, you can print directly from the PSD.

The other problem with JPEG is that it uses only 8 bits to represent each colour, whereas PSD and TIFF use 16. That means that if you want to do any further editing in Photoshop after converting from ACR, you won't be able to manipulate it as much before you run into problems like banding.
