It seems that I will be doing a 2 week long cruise in Alaska this summer. I've never been into wildlife photography per se and I know that the GXR is far from ideal for this kind of work. But, since I do own a GXR, I think it might be fun to give it a try on this trip.

So far in my kit for this trip I have a:

GXR with EVF
Remote shutter
Circular Polarizer
6 Stop B+W ND filter
3 Stop B+W ND filter
2 different ND Grad Filters

Ricoh 28mm A12 lens

M-mount with:
CV 35mm f/1.4
Canon FD 50mm f/1.2
Nikkor 105mm f/4 Macro

And I will probably get either a Canon or Nikon SLR lens at 200mm f/4 for the 300mm EFOV as a telephoto.

Any other suggestions for gear to bring on this trip?

Canon made a very nice relatively compact 200mm f2.8 FD. Last time I looked they were very reasonably priced .... Ssssh, don't tell a soul.
