Back in the day, I recall hacking raw support for a variety of cameras by editing .plist files. Some digging around the 10.7 file structure indicates that Apple has changed raw decoding considerably. Has anyone cracked the code on hacking raw support in 10.7?

It changed long before 10.7. To prevent the hacking they turned the clear text .plist into a binary that got compiled, but it never got well understood how and where each got used. There were some small binary hacks out there for specific cameras, but the cameras ended up being officially supported so the hacks became redundant, and now people tend to just wait for support. Which camera did you have in mind?
