The question is the upgrade to GH3 or OM-D?

The G3 is a consumer camera. The GH3 and OM-D are the next level.

The GH3 and the OM-D are supposed to be more expensive and have more features.

Personally I like Panasonic lenses, the 20mm and the 25mm are fantastic, the little 14mm is great and very small, as are the Oly 45mm and Oly 12.

But Panasonic cameras, even the most ardent reviews describe jpegs as "need improvement" or "better than before." Oly jpegs are always praised highly, in contrast.

The question of upgrading from the G3 to GH3 or OM-D is to go from Corolla to Camry, or from Camry to Lexus.

The real question here is how the GH3 will compare to the OM-D.

My feeling is the GH3 will have some advantages in movie focus, but will trail in ISO, jpeg skin tones, body looks and metal feel.

Wondering anyone who has moved to the OM-D or planning to from the G3 - worth it and why? Thanks.
