I have the 60D and the 17-55 is my main lens. I currently used it at a band gig with no flash and got awesome shots. For weddings the 17-55 is a much better option than the 15-85mm.
Other than the 17-55 I have tamron 70-300 vc, tokina 11-16, sigma 30mm f1.4 and sigma 70-200 os
Yet for one daily lens, the 15-85mm is awesome
