Can an X100 be used as a P&S ?

I own both the s95 and the X100. The s95 takes wonderful images for a point and shoot. That said, the X100 is not really a point and shoot, but it can be operated as one using the program mode. The X100 is a heck of a lot more fun too, but if I really wasn't interested in digital imaging as a hobby, I would stick with the s95 because of its ease of use, autofocus speed and low light capability. You have to "work" with a X100 to justify its slowness and complexity. Good luck!
