The K5 is also a very well made and tough camera, if you are familiar with ISO, shutter speed and aperture you will have no problem using it, and the two wheel control layout is very useful - eg use TAv mode and one dial controls shutter, the other aperture, or Av mode, one dial for aperture, one for ISO. Thes advanced features actually make moving from complete auto mode very easy in my view! Current UK prices on the K5 are excellent, plenty of used glass available from dealers like SRS, Ffordes etc, as well as the dreaded e-bay, good lenses like the DA16-45 are reasonably priced. Beware the FA Ltd pixie dust though, or you will be infected with LBA which will cause a severe depletion of your bank balance (or an inflation of your Credit card balance!)
