T3i/600D. Is there any difficulty using the 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens

I have a 600D (T3i) and had been using it with the 18-135 lens. I recently sold the 18-135 because I wasn't totallyt happy with the image quality. At the same time I really like the 600D and would like to keep that camera.
My intention is to buy the 15-85mm lens in the next few days but I have come across a couple of comments in reviews saying it is a bit unbalanced on the 600D/Rebel T3i camera.
Is anyone able to provide me with some real world experience of using the 15-85mm on a 600D/Rebel T3i (or the 550D, 500D)? Your advice would be appreciated.
