It is also a trap - if you don't know (there is no warning) you could blow shots, as both our Guakaman (sp, sorry) and I have done.

It seems giving a camera time to become intimate with it is not something that's tolerated nowadays, I guess. I expect to blow shots in the first weeks with any new body - especially one that works rather differently (for better or worse) than what one is used to. IMO the trap a fabrication of impatience.
