You discovered my dilemma.

I have E-3 with 50mm, 14-54, 12-60 and 50-200. I was wondering if I should sell that equipment and move entirely to E-M5. I had not considered the possibility of an E-7. I had looked upon the E-5 as the "end of the line" for that series.

I'd sell the E-3, 14-54, and probably the 12-60 as well. Keep the 50-200 and buy an E-M5 kit with the 12-50, the MMF-3 adapter and a 45MM 1.8 to go with it if budget allows. If not the 45MM then perhaps another fast prime that suits your needs. What will leave you with what in my opininon is a better camera and cover the same focal lengths you have presently, more of less.

If you can afford to keep the 12-60, I'd say hold on to it and see whether you like it better than the 12-50 kit lens. Focus speed and accuracy, brightness, effectiveness with the E-M5, etc. When I had the 12-60, it rarely came off of my camera.

Just my thought. I'm curious what others think as well.
