Strange thread.
Skip the TC. It works poorly on 100-400. Bring the 100-400 and a good quality monopod.
A 24-105 and 100-400 is a good Yellowstone combo on a 60D. Pick up a 10-22 or 10-20 for wide angle for a three lens solution.
