OM-D Functionality

In looking at the informative DPReview notes on how to best operate the new OM-D, the author complains that by default the rear screen is a menu with only the EVF in Live View. DPReview may not like that setup, but I would love it. (I don't yet own the camera, though I often think about upgrading from my G1.) In fact I'd like to know, and here's my question: Is it possible to set up the OM-D so that in Camera mode (as opposed, of course, to Playback mode) the rear screen is never anything but a menu, leaving the only view through the EVF and with the EVF providing all necessary information such as histogram? I ask because the article doesn't make clear whether the rear screen just starts as a menu or stays that way after you start shooting. As I say, I'd prefer the latter (and on my G1, I shoot with the screen turned into the camera). Thanks.
