Connecting nikon g lens to mft with adapter
Anyone here try something similar?
Setting the aperture is pure guesswork. There are only two known positions... wide open and fully stopped down. Anything in between is a guess.-- hide signature --

I found 2 adapters on ebay (sold under many different names. but essentially these 2 are what I found):
The first one has number from 0 to 6. Does that mean it has 7 different positions for the aperture (fully open till fully closed with 5 intermediate values) ?
The second one has nothing I can understand regarding intermediate values.
I imagine some of this guesswork is solvable by taking a few test shots for a given aperture setting and finding the optimal ISO and shutter speed combination.
Maybe after a while one gets the hang of it - you know that one notch difference equates to 2 stops etc.
Which of the two would you recommend? Have you used any of them?
