Sony FF lenses: Tam 28-75 70-300 Min 28-135 50/1.4 Sig 15-30 20/1.8

Hi there!

With great sadness I am selling my full frame kit to make way for an NEX7. Below are the lenses - A850 body to come. Please at 3% and $10 for shipping to prices below. Feel free to PM for bundle discounts.

Tamron 70-300 USD f4-5.6 - Like new - $300

Includes: Original hood, original front and rear caps, original packaging, receipt & warranty card
Front element: Perfect
Rear element: Perfect
Body: Perfect, AF/MF switch perfect, both rings rotate smoothly as new

Sigma 20mm f1.8 - Aperture control & AF are Broken - $150

Note: The electronic tape that connects the lens contacts on the mount to the interior of the lens is snapped, so the lens does not communicate at all with the camera body. This means aperture and autofocus control do not work. As it is, the camera will shoot the lens wide open, which I’ve used it for. It’s fairly low contrast at f1.8. I got this lens for free in a bundle - the previous owner said he dropped it.
Includes: Original hood, original front and rear caps
Front element: Perfect - no scratches or marks

Rear element: Various small specks that I can’t get off with a lens pen. Not sure if they are on the inside of the rear element.

Body: One large chip out of the front filter ring and some scratch marks on the body (see photos)

Minolta 50mm f1.4 - $225
Includes: Generic front and original rear cap, minolta branded UV filter

Front element: Perfect - no scratches or marks. I can see several pieces of dust on the inside of the lens. I have never seen these affect image quality, even when pointing directly into the sun.

Rear element: Perfect. Again I can see some dust on the inside of the lens from this direction as well, and again no impact on IQ.

Body: Excellent - some very minor scratches. Golden QC passed sticker is fading. Focus ring smooth.

Minolta 28-135mm f4-4.5 - $320

I’m so sad to see this lens go. It was spectacularly sharp, competing very well with the tamron 28-75 f2.8 after f5.6, and the zoom range was incredible. This is IMO the best walk around lens for the a850. It’s a beautiful, heavy piece of glass.

Note: I’ve hacked this lens to allow AF during macro mode using the dyxum tutorial. This helps mitigate the 5ft minimum focus distance for this lens.

Includes: Kenko Pro 1 Digital Multi Coated 72mm UV filter (~$30 new, online), 72mm generic lens hood (for APS usage only as it causes vignetting at 28mm on full frame), generic neoprene front cap and original rear cap, minolta branded UV filter

Front element: 2 small nicks toward the outer edge of the front element and a few cleaning marks. See photos. Bottom line is I’ve never seen these affect image quality even when shooting into the sun.
Rear element: Perfect.

Body: Various cosmetic scratches on filter ring and body. See photos. These don’t impact functionality. Macro switch and both rings work perfectly.

Sigma 15-30mm F3.5-4.5 - $290

The best sub-$1000 ultra wide angle I’ve been able to find for the a850/900. This lens is quite sharp past f5.6 and pretty decent wide open. Amazing performance overall for its price and focal range.
Includes: Original front cap, generic rear cap & original carrying case.
Front element: Perfect
Rear element: Perfect.

Body: Both focus & zoom rings work smoothly and perfectly. Small paint scratches on hood from putting on and removing the lens cap. The unique lens cap design for the lens makes this inevitable. No impact on actual functionality

Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 $275

An amazing standard zoom for the a850. Competes very well with the CZ 24-70mm for less than a quarter of the price. Decent at f2.8 and excellent at f4 and beyond. This was my go to lens for the a850.
Includes: Original front and rear caps, original packaging & receipt.

Front element: Some minor nicks at the very borders of the front element. I have never seen these impact IQ. See photos.

Rear element: Large scratch mark on center of rear element. I’ve done some testing, shooting directly into the sun, slightly off center, and just out of the frame. I can see no impact on IQ. I will allow good faith returns on this lens because of this scratch. If you are unhappy with its performance because of the scratch, I will split shipping (there and back) with you and refund the price of the lens.

Body: Body is excellent overall. Both focus & zoom rings work smoothly and perfectly. Zoom lock switch works perfectly.
